The Fold – Wii Sports Resort (Kayaking)
The Wii Sports Resort coverage comes to a close here at WiiFolder with this episode of The Fold. Myself, Nick, Goslin & Snacks all work together in the same Kayak to collect baby ducklings and return them to their mother in the pond. Such a simple concept, yet sooooooo much fun! We also toss in a quick 2 vs. 2 player match where each team has to get 5 points by passing through checkpoints. I hope this video as well as all of our Wii Sports Resort coverage shows off just how fun the game is. It offers some of the craziest, freshest and most enjoyable multiplayer you’ll ever find!

hey josh, which mode was more fun? the duckling rescue (which makes about 24% sense) or the race? (wich makes 100% sense)
Mitchell West, personally I would say the race. Unfortunately you can’t do the duckling rescue without doing the race afterwards unless you +-button and press quit, because the duckling speed challenge is the ‘practice’ before the race, but you CAN skip it by pressing the – button.

Yea I am indeed real. First time I got to participate in a Fold video in person. I live about an hour away from Josh so it’s hard to visit him in person. However, much easier to visit him in Animal Crossing. Snacks

Do you need 4 Wii Motion Plus to play 4 player Kayaking? Cause I don’t really have the money to buy 2 more controllers, 4 Wii Motion plus and Wii Sports Resort…

Anytime somebody is playing WSR you need motion plus.

Yeah I agree with that, this is a great party game I’d say. It looks like it lol. I headin to Missouri for vacation and I’m gonna have this game to play with the folks. It’s gonna be fun as hell
yeah i just check ign to see stuff bout the game, but they always have to give the games lower reviews then anyone else(like what the hell with 9.5 for Super Smash Bros. brawl when everyone else gave it perfect scores).
Yeah, i agree, IGN only gave Resort a 6.5.
It seems pretty damn slack.
I just cant stand the waiting, i have to wait until the 23rd.
IGN Australia gave it 6.5, IGN US gave it 7.7, and IGN UK gave it 8.9.
Frankly, the only one of those scores I agree with is the 8.9.

He had a japanese wii imported and that makes him get the DLC for japanese also.

The one thing i dont like is that you have to get 1 wiimotion plus adapter for each wii remote and thats $30 each. They are making you pay extra for what wii remotes were supposed to do from the start!

No, Wiimotes couldn’t do it from the start because it would be too expensive. Have you ever thought that this costs money? It was impossible to put it from the start. Now, it’s cheaper and optional.

It sucks that you have to buy seperate WMP’s for each player, but it’s obvious that you have to. I’m probably going to just get two for now, one with WSR, and one with PGA Tour 10.

Hey Josh! Awesome video. I do have one question though. In the original webisite for Wii Sports Resort, it doesn’t say that there is a canoeing game where you help the mom duck find her ducklings. Can you answer how you get this mini game?

oh wait a minute! The duckling minigame is hidden in the practice mode. I just did it myself. 7mins haha
